Walsn’s presentation in IEEE SENSORS 2023

Our senior engineer, Dr Kamel Reda, from Walsn Ltd. UK, presented a research paper titled 'Improved Signal Processing Algorithm to Enhance the Performance of Electrostatic Sensors for Particle Velocity Measurement' at IEEE SENSORS 2023 which was held in Vienna, Austria fromOctober 28 – November 1, 2023.

The research paper proposes an improved cross-correlation signal processing algorithm for the velocity measurement of pneumatically conveyed solids using electrostatic sensors. The improved algorithm increases the measurement accuracy in noisy environments and improves the dynamic response for real-time applications.

The paper is co-authored by Dr Tao Wang of Walsn Ltd and Professor Yong Yan of University of Kent through their continuous research in this area. It has just been published online in the IEEE Xplore digital library.
