Walsn is pleased to partner in the construction of the Singhitarai Power Plant, now under construction in Singhitarai, India, contributing to the nation's energy and economic growth. The plant operates on the principle of using coal-fired subcritical steam to drive turbine generators. It has two 600MW generation facilities. Currently under construction, the plant is anticipated to become operational by the end of the year. Upon completion, the facility will address local power shortages, create jobs, and foster industrial development in the region.
Walsn is proud to supply the project with FDS, the remote flame detection system.
The FDS system comprises two primary components: the detection unit and the control unit. The detection unit is responsible for gathering, processing, and transmitting data, while the control unit evaluates flame conditions, analyzes features, and assesses flame quality, all in real-time. The system is designed for exceptional performance, featuring high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) resistance, and is designed for maximal reliability, information stability, and safety.
With a user-friendly interface, numerous I/O connection ports, and a compact structure, the system is easy to install and operate. Its remote design makes it particularly well-suited for environments with space or maintenance constraints. This advanced technology underscores Walsn’s commitment to enhancing efficiency and safety in modern power generation facilities. This and other process control systems are available from Walsn, info@walsn.com.
